1999 - Copenhagen, Denmark

An Easter break to Denmark.

View 1999 Copenhagen on nzhamsta's travel map.

This was another sightseeing trip over the Easter weekend. Again a lot of things closed, but it meant no traffic.

The Nikolay Kirke, near Højbro Plads.

Christiansborg Palace, home of the Danish parliament.

The Amelienborg, with the Marmokirken in the background.

The Gammel Strand.

The Rosenborg castle in the city centre.

Went for a day trip to Roskilde, about an hour on the train. Nice harbour and an interesting Viking museum, showing the ships they recovered from the harbour.

The Domkirken in Roskilde.
