Well, on my way again back to the UK with a couple of weeks in Thailand on the way there. This was my first trip here.
1 February to 4 February - I had a few days in Bangkok to start with. These days were spent wandering around the usual touristy places, including the Grand Palace, Wat Po, Wat Arun and a khlong (canal) tour around the Thonburi side of the Chao Praya river.

4 February to 12 February - From Bangkok I went out to Ko Chang. This is a large island on the eastern side of the Gulf of Thailand. This is about a 5 hour bus ride plus a 1 hour boat ride. I stayed in the Kai Bae Bungalows at Hat Kai Bae. Very basic, very peaceful, decent restaurant.

12 February to 14 February - Back through Bangkok to Ayutthaya for a final few days before heading to London. There are lots of great temples to wander around.
