Thursday 31 July - The start of the second tour around Europe, this time to Scandinavia and eastern Europe. I met the group in London and we caught the ferry from Dover to Zeebrugge in Belgium. We then drove to Amsterdam. Dinner in camp was waiting for us as we have an Irish cook, Helen.

Friday 1 August - A free day in Amsterdam. Did bit of sightseeing including a canal trip. A quiet evening in camp.

Saturday 2 August - On cook duty so up early to get brekkie organised. We drove via the Zuider Zee and Groningen to Hamburg. The evening was spent out in town, ending up in a Bavarian Beer Hall.

Sunday 3 August - Drove to Copenhagen via the ferry from Puttgarden to Rodby. On dinner duty, and a quiet evening in camp.

Thursday 4 August - A tour of Copenhagen. Statue of Hans Christian Andersen, the Tuborg Brewery, a free afternoon, and the Tivoli Gardens in evening. The Tivoli Gardens are a huge amusement park with lots of rides and such. All good fun.

Friday 5 August - Another sightseeing day in Copenhagen. The Royal Palace, The Mermaid, the Bing & Grøndahl porcelain factory, the WWII Resistance Museum, free time in afternoon.
