Wednesday 23 August
By train to Ayutthaya, with an interesting fish curry and rice for brunch. We stayed at the Tamarind Guest house, directly opposite Phra Ram Park.
We booked an afternoon boat trip around the river which stopped at three temples, Wat Phanam Choeng, Wat Phuttai Sawan and Wat Chaiwatthanaram. The tour was quite interesting and rather damp when we got swamped by the bow wave of a large barge going in the opposite direction.
Our long tail around the river.

A long walk through the Phra Ram Park. We tried to use bicycles but Hung was having trouble with hers. "It not listen to me!" as she fell off and skinned her knee.
