Five days next to a pool!

Five days slobbing by a pool at a very nice hotel in Patong.

Did very little as it was very hot each day. Good breakfast, wander around the shops and markets, afternoon swim and nap.

Dinners:
1. Beach front place. Okay.
2. Small place on Thanon Ratuhit Songroipi Road (the second road back from the beach). Quite good.
3, 4, 5. Small beach front place run by a jovial Frenchman (Matthias) and his Thai wife. The food was excellent and was slightly different from the standard Thai food, For example, a red curry was not a soup style of dish but rather the sauce was a paste over the meat and vegetables.
