Wednesday 13 April to Friday 15 April - A couple of days looking around Istanbul in the rain. The weather was not very good at all, but I managed to get to some of the main sites in between the downpours.

Hotel review: The Sultan Hostel was a great place. It is centrally located in the middle of the touristy Sultanhamet area and is close to the Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia and so on. It has a good bar and very good restaurant. My room had a great view over the Sea of Marmara, with lots of ships coming and going.
