Over to Coromandel Town for the day. This is an historic gold mining town and port.
We wander around the town (it doesn't take very long as it is not very large) and the markets. It does have a number of art galleries selling some very nice works. I found one I especially liked but balked at the price.

The market in Coromandel.
After lunch we had a booking for the zip lining at Driving Creek. This is an abandoned gold mine that had its own narrow gauge railway through the forest. It has been renovated and an eight stage zip line installed. They have also been replanting native trees to help regenerate the forest.
The zip lining was really good fun, the longest run being about 200 metres back to the start point.
