Another couple of weeks off (over the real Millennium), this time with Christmas and New Year in Phuket and a side trip to Penang in Malaysia.
I had a hotel in the centre of George Town, the capital of the island. There was quite a good view from my room over the town. The time there was spent looking around the island, the temples and the scenery.
