A week in the Big Apple and Boston.

This was a week's holiday and was arranged at short notice as I was not able to go on another trip to Central America due to illness.

The first few days were spent in New York, going to some places I had not been to earlier, especially a trip to the top of the Empire State Building.

Midtown, the East River and Brooklyn.

I then caught the train (yes, they do exist in the USA) from Penn Street Station to Boston. It was a very relaxed four hour trip up the coast line and given the time of year, the scenery and foliage were spectacular. Lots of history in Boston and the food isn't too bad either.
