A stopover on my way to India.

I had a couple of days in Singapore getting used to the Asian heat and rain before venturing towards India.

I took two city tours that visited many of Singapore's tourist attractions, including Empress Palace, the place where Raffles landed in 1819, Mount Faber (good views), Batik factory (?), Botanic Gardens, Changi Prison, another Chinese temple, Singapore Crocodile Farm, the Malay part of town and the Arab Quarter and a fair bit of wandering around.

The weather was not very good, but we saw all the main sights whilst dodging the thunderstorms.
