Another week off. This time I travelled by Eurostar to Paris and stayed in a small hotel near Place d'Italie on the left bank of the Seine. It was okay until it flooded one night in a storm. I had the manager bashing on my door at some stupid hour to find that my room was flooded.
Took a train trip to Orléans, about 80km from Paris. Nice old city with a old cathedral and a river.

On another day I took a train up the Seine to Rouen. This is another old city with a huge cathedral.
